There is a lot of misinformation out there about the best ways to strengthen your core muscles. After years of seeing many women in my women’s health physical therapy practice who have been strengthening in ways that have actually put them at higher risk for back injury and incontinence, these classes were designed with the intent of providing accurate, research based information about bladder health, and effective pelvic floor, abdominal and low back strengthening techniques for women throughout their lifespan. The goal is to give participants access to important, rarely discussed, relevant information and exercise instruction provided by a highly qualified physical therapist whose entire clinical practice is focused on women’s health issues. The classes are split into several topic areas to cover some specifics that are relevant to some women and not to others. There is some overlap of information between classes. Class Descriptions
